Our products should be treated with love and care. This organic orange silk is particularly gorgeous for its lustrous shine and ability to regulate temperatures, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. To keep it at its best, it should be washed gently and separately, by hand, using natural detergents, at a cold temperature. 

USE NEUTRAL DETERGENTS

Always use a pH neutral liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. This silk is a natural fibre and washing it in a solution that’s too acidic or alkaline can cause this silk to harden in a single wash. If you can't find a detergent that specifies pH level then just go for one that specifies silk. Do not use bleach products. 

HAND WASH WITH COLD WATER

Please do not use any harsh chemical on organic fabrics while washing or in any other way (avoid contact with perfumes and any other substances that contain alcohol, starch or strong detergent). Never use hot water for regular washing as it can cause the fabric to shrink and damage its texture. Immerse in water for a short time only because leaving this silk in water for a long time can result in a loss of shine. Avoid rubbing. 

LAY FLAT TO DRY

When drying, do not wring or use a tumble dryer. Instead, lay it flat and allow it to dry naturally and out of direct sunlight. 

IRON ON THE REVERSE

After washing, the fabric will be quite wrinkled, a unique moment similar to the appearance of an orange peel. After ironing, the pieces take on their normal look again. To iron this delicate fabric, do it only on the reverse, keeping the temperature no higher than 100°C.

TREAT GENTLY

The gentler you wash your Leizi product, the longer it will keep its sheen. The shinier it is, the better you will sleep, which is one of the benefits to its health and beauty qualities. Due to the delicate nature of this silk we recommend all jewellery and watches to be removed to prevent snagging.
